Last updated: March 20, 2026
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Notice explains what personal data Pasteur Software collects, how we process it, and for what purposes.
PasteurSoft provides software solutions for the healthcare industry. References to PasteurSoft products in this notice include PasteurSoft services, websites, applications, software, servers, and devices.
This notice applies to your interactions with PasteurSoft and to PasteurSoft products.
Personal Data We Collect
PasteurSoft collects data from you through our interactions with you and through our solutions. You provide some of this data directly, and we obtain other data by collecting information about your interactions, usage, and experiences with our products. The data we collect depends on the context of your interactions with PasteurSoft and the choices you make, including those related to your privacy settings and the products and features you use. We may also obtain information about you from third parties.
You have choices regarding the technology you use and the data you share. When you are asked to provide personal data, you may decline. Some of our products require certain personal data in order to provide you with a service. If you choose not to provide the data required to deliver a product or feature, you may not be able to use that product or feature. Likewise, where we need to collect personal data to comply with a legal obligation or to enter into or perform a contract with you, and you do not provide that data, we may be unable to enter into the contract. If this relates to a product you are already using, we may need to suspend or cancel it. We will notify you when this is the case. Where providing data is optional and you choose not to share personal data, features that rely on such data may not function for you.
How We Use Personal Data
PasteurSoft uses the data we collect to provide enriched and interactive experiences. In particular, we use data to:
-
Provide our products, including updating, securing, troubleshooting, and delivering technical support. This also includes sharing data when necessary to provide the service or complete transactions you request.
-
Improve and develop our products.
-
Personalize our products and make recommendations.
-
Advertise and market our products, including sending promotional communications, delivering targeted advertising, and presenting relevant offers.
We also use the data to operate our business, including analyzing performance, complying with legal obligations, developing our capabilities, and conducting research.
For these purposes, we combine data we collect from different contexts, such as your use of PasteurSoft products, or data obtained from third parties, in order to provide you with a more consistent, personalized, and useful experience, support informed business decisions, and pursue other legitimate purposes.
Our processing of personal data for these purposes includes both automated and manual methods. Our automated methods are often related to and supported by human review. For example, these automated methods may include artificial intelligence (AI), which we understand as a set of technologies that enable systems to perceive, learn, reason, and assist in decision-making in ways similar to people. To build, train, and improve the accuracy of our automated processing methods, including AI, we may manually review some of the predictions and inferences generated by those automated systems against the underlying data from which those predictions and inferences were made.
Reasons We Share Personal Data
We share your personal data with your consent, to complete transactions, or to provide any product you have requested or authorized. We may also share data with PasteurSoft affiliates, with vendors working on our behalf, where required by law or legal process, to protect our customers, to maintain the security of our products, and to protect the rights or property of PasteurSoft and its customers.
How to Access and Control Your Personal Data
You may also make choices regarding the collection and use of your data by PasteurSoft. You can control the personal data PasteurSoft has obtained about you and exercise your data protection rights by contacting PasteurSoft or by using the tools we make available. In some cases, your ability to access or control your personal data may be limited as required or permitted by applicable law.
